Beaux Villages' Team
You’ll hear us talk about being a ‘people business’. ‘Family’ get a regular mention.
Words are easy and talk is cheap. We really do work as a team.
The whole team at BVI undergoes regular training above and beyond the minimum standards now prescribed by French law. Compulsory elements include applicable law and ethics, and we have added extra modules that we feel are of particular benefit to our clients.
Have a look at our testimonials.
I’m the managing director and founder of Beaux Villages Immobilier. Growing up my time was spent across several European countries including France, Holland and Spain. As a multi-lingual business and language graduate, I’ve chosen to raise my son and daughter (and several donkeys) here in France. I am the holder of the legally required Carte Professionelle for our business.
I am CEO of BVI and my background is in property, retail sales, and latterly HR and training. I’ve lived in France since 2003. This is a people business first and foremost. Property is the product, however relationships, trust and mutual respect are the key elements to matching buyer and seller. We’ll treat you the way we want to be treated. My personal passions include architecture, local history and photography.
My role is as Group Marketing Director for BVI and its sister companies in Spain and the UK. Following a career editing property magazines for the BBC, I arrived in France for a holiday in the early 2000’s and bought a house almost on a whim. I am an ex-journalist with a passion for property. Fancy a chat about architecture, furnishings, colour, white goods? I'm your girl. I LOVE moving house and would happily pack up and move on every couple of years. On the work front, I still flex my writing skills in national and international publications creating features on French property and the buying process.
I am Group Finance Director for BVI and its sister companies in Spain and the UK. My background includes marketing consultant for blue-chip companies in the UK, being a business owner in France, and being a published author on the heady science of business process improvement. The team here like to joke that I arrived in France on holiday and bought a house on a spreadsheet.
Angie brings a great deal of enthusiasm to the team. Whilst based in Montaigu, she works largely in the Lot-et-Garonne with a focus on Nérac; a stunning medieval town that Angie loves promoting to her clients!
Anne has been with BVI since 2015 and works mainly in the area south of Verteillac.
Antony and his wife, Jane, brought their company Guyenne Immobilier into Beaux Villages early in 2018. He brings unbeatable local knowledge of this justifiably popular and stunningly pretty bastide town.
Beth manages to balance her sense of fun with her head for hard work at the Monségur office. She’s likely to be the voice you hear on the phone.
Caroline Oliver joined BVI in late 2011 and helped found our third office, on the banks of the Dordogne river. Since that time her intuitive people skills and unrivalled local knowledge have lead to many a testimonial from delighted buyer and seller alike.
See if you can manage not to be captivated by her twinkly-eyed smile.
Bright and bubbly, Claire is in our English call team and is the first voice that many people hear when they start their search for their Dream French home.
David Crews has been a fixture on the local estate agency scene for some 15 years, joining us in 2009.
As our business has grown he has assumed the role of heading up our team of sales managers and senior negotiators. He’s a skilled diplomat and has agreed deals where many others have failed before him.
If you are in the Tarn et Garonne and see a black and yellow 2CV go by, give it a wave; chances are it will be driven by Beaux Villages sales consultant, Edite Hill. Talking of being driven, based in our Montaigu de Quercy office, Edite brings energy and fun to any property search. Born in Latvia and having lived in the UK before moving to France Edite understands very well the challenges and excitement of changing country. ‘Having made the move myself, I love being able to make the process fear-free for other people,’ she says.
Ellie came to France and did her schooling here in France and so is another of our bilingual, bi-cultural call team members. You might find yourself in contact with Ellie if you use Live Chat.

I ‘retired’ from a life on stage and screen to slow down in France and pursue a second passion showing and breeding dogs. Since joining BVI I’ve never worked so hard in my LIFE! But I absolutely LOVE supporting and mentoring the sales team as they find the perfect home for a new arrival or, equally help a seller to move on with their life.
Since qualifying in 1981, James has always been involved with the sale of property and chattels. He had his own practice located in a UK World Heritage Site. This involved the marketing and sales of many listed buildings which was both interesting and challenging. He tells us the job in France entails greater interaction with the buyer and sale process from initial enquiry to the date of completion and in many cases well beyond!France is now James' forever home now and his children live here, too.
Jane, and her husband Antony, brought their company Guyenne Immobilier into Beaux Villages early in 2018. She brings unbeatable local knowledge of this justifiably popular and stunningly pretty bastide town.
After a career in the sky as cabin-crew for a world famous airline, Jenny settled in Monsegur to raise her family, where she joined BVI at its inception in 2008 and is now Contracts Manager for the whole of BVI.
As head of HR and training for Beaux Villages I make full use of my teaching background (French was my subject). It’s my job to ensure that the sales team uphold the BVI standards of quality customer service. I moved to France several years ago with my husband, Kevin, who is also on the sales team (and loves having a personal sales trainer at home!).

The routes to being a sales agent are many and varied. ‘I moved to France from Belgium in 1996 and, with my parents and siblings started an ostrich farm,’ explains Nico. ‘We sold eggs, feathers, meat, ostrich leather. We did open days and attended markets almost every day.’After several years Nico decided to try a new career and branched into immobilier. Now, with 11 years experience, he combines selling property from the Eymet office with running ongoing sales for the local team as the liaison between Beaux Villages and the notaires.‘I still love meeting lots of people and the variety of the work - if you can say one this about this job is that it is never boring.’
Based on the borders of Charente and Dordogne in the Verteillac office, I am Customer Services Manager for BVI. I've lived in France from a very early age when my parents moved here from the UK. I was educated here and, like many of our team, married into the local community.
