I chose to make south Deux-Sèvres my home when I moved here over 20 years ago, and it’s where I started my family. This has given me valuable insight into many aspects of French life, from schooling and healthcare to local activities, amenities, finding work, running my own business, and integrating successfully into the community.
Having worked in sales for over 30 years, I understand the importance of really listening and taking the time to understand my clients’ needs. It’s not simply about finding a new home; it’s about a whole new life experience, and I want it to be the best it can be for my clients. My greatest satisfaction comes from helping people achieve their goals and seeing them happy. I firmly believe that if I can make the house-buying process easier and less stressful, then I’ve done my job well.
Every day is different. You never know the history behind the next house you walk into, and getting to know clients is genuinely exciting. Working with a strong, multilingual, and experienced team is incredibly rewarding. The role is varied and full of surprises. I live close to the historic market town of Melle and know the surrounding area well, including across the border into the Vienne, Charente, and Charente-Maritime. Having lived in Chef-Boutonne for 10 years and near Melle for 11, I know many of the local villages, such as Bouin, Villefagnan, Aigre, Brioux-sur-Boutonne, Sauzé-Vaussais, Aulnay, and Chizé. You tend to explore a lot when you have children!
