We bought our dream house in the Charente with the help of Beaux Villages. Although the sellers hired them, we always felt that BV did their utmost to guide us through the process. We are moving from the Netherlands to France and had to get used to how things work in France. BV gave us peace of mind; they answered all our questions in a friendly and timely manner. Making appointments to visit the house was easy and could be arranged at short notice. We even got help with matters that were not directly related to the house (getting energy, water and phone connections for instance). We were very impressed about the friendliness and accuracy of their support. A big thank you to Helen Stothard, who was our main contact and who worked relentlessly for us. She's a friend for life! Also to Matthew Barry, who was a big help on the background and even assisted us during the signing of the contract at the notary. When we started our search for a house, we expected it to be a much more difficult process, but thanks to them it was a pleasurable experience and we highly recommend them!
