The biggest annual celebration of Occitan culture returns!

This year's Félibrée is only weeks away and our local team members are already planning their visits! 

This year’s festival will be the 102nd since the celebrations were created back in 1903 and the tradition is going as strong as ever.

The 3 day annual spectacle will this year be hosted by Montignac-Lascaux in the Dordogne on the 30th June - 2nd July. 

Nowadays the festival attracts thousands of locals and tourists each year who come to celebrate the traditions and language of the Occitan region. Each year it’s hosted by a different town or village in the region.

It really is a lovely day out and quite a sight to behold. The streets are decked out and many of the people attending are dressed in period clothes. There is always plenty of local food, music, art, ancient crafts, dance, and the parade!
