The 12 Days of Christmas... in French Properties
Over on the Prestige LinkedIn page, we're sharing videos from our team members across South-West France and Provence, each revealing their dream Christmas hideaway. From grand châteaux perfect for hosting the entire extended family to intimate manor houses and converted farmhouses ideal for a cosy retreat, the choices are as varied as our team itself.
Some have gone for properties with those enormous dining rooms – because Christmas is really about gathering everyone around a properly long table, isn't it? Others have chosen places with spectacular grounds for Boxing Day walks, or south-facing terraces for a rare sunny December afternoon glass of something warming.
What's lovely about these videos is hearing the personal reasons behind each choice. These aren't sales pitches – they're genuine 'if I could, I would' moments from people who spend their working lives walking through some of France's most beautiful properties.
Why We're Doing This
Beyond the festive fun, there's a real point to all this. When you're looking at properties online, you see the photographs, the specifications, the room counts. What you don't always get is the sense of what it would actually feel like to be there – to live in that space, to use those rooms, to experience that particular place at a particular time.
Our team knows these properties inside out. They've stood in those reception rooms, looked out of those windows, imagined how different seasons would feel in each space. Their insights go well beyond what any brochure can tell you.

We're releasing these videos throughout December on the Prestige LinkedIn page – our own countdown to Christmas. Each one offers a different glimpse into the lifestyle these properties can offer, and perhaps a bit of insight into what makes each member of our team tick.
