It is at the edge of Dunet, an attractive small village with no amenities and only 5 minutes drive from Chaillac, a lively village offering a selection of cafés, village shops and small businesses, as well as a lovely lake to swim or fish in. It’s an hour's drive to the airport in Limoges.
The barn is ideally positioned set slightly back from the road with parking in front of it and extensive views across rolling countryside. The building is divided into 3 sections each approximately 25m2, each with a packed earth floor. Two sections are full height to the roof and the 3rd has a granary above it. There is approximately 500m2 of extremely overgrown land behind the barn. Attached to one side is a small courtyard and stone sheds in poor condition.
Attached at the other end of the barn is a breeze block shed and beyond this not attached to the barn is a stone shed.
Water and electricity are nearby and will need connecting at the purchaser’s expense. There is no sanitation so a septic tank would need to be installed at the purchasers cost as part of the renovation work. The conception documents for this have been obtained.
