I should like to record my appreciation of the service that I received from you and your colleagues at Beaux Villages, in the recent sale of my house. It was unfailingly responsive, courteous and constructive. In a difficult selling period, the team was able to generate regular viewings by 'proceedable' buyers. I also used two other agencies and Beaux Villages promoted far more viewings than these other agencies. However, not only was I able to benefit from the high level of service from front line staff, I was very impressed by the efficiency and responsiveness of  the legal department who liaised very effectively between the parties and the Notaire. I have had no hesitation in recommending Beaux Villages to friends.

We wanted to write you a short note to thank you for all your help over the last few months and for being a ‘top notch” estate agent. Finding a property in France was quite challenging since we had so many criteria on our tick list, but our biggest worry was actually “purchasing’’ the house. We came accross so many estate agents too uninterested to even sell us a house and therefore were left thinking how difficult was the actual process of buying a house going to be? Had we known we were going to come accross someone as helpful as you, we would not have needed to worry because with your assistance it was remarkably easy. This was mainly due to your patience (apologies again for all the emails and the phone calls) but also the fact that you were always so quick to answer any queries/ worries we had. From our initial contact with Sean in the office at Aubeterre on a warm summer’s holiday afternoon in August 2023 to receiving the keys to our new home in France less than 6 months later, our experience with BVI was nothing short of sensational. Sean referred us to Mike in the Jonzac office who took over, organising a viewings tour for us in September - Mike was delightful to deal with, couldn’t be more helpful and informative and quickly grasped what we were looking for in a home in France. Be it luck or good judgement, the first house we looked at was the one! Having bought and sold houses in the U.K. for over 50 years, I have had dealings with lots of different estate agents however, I can safely say that Eleonore Goodfellow of Beaux Villages in Bellac, is by far the best ever. Her meticulous attention to detail is refreshing and her conscientious and consistent approach to communication is nothing less that brilliant. I would have no reservations in recommending her services to anyone. From our first meeting, my wife and myself, were extremely pleased with the positive way she answered our numerous questions and followed up all of her actions with confirmation emails. We recently sold our home in France having used the services of Beaux Villages. From initial contact to signing, it took less than seven months. Prior to engaging Beaux Villages, our home was on the market for over two years with another estate agent having had only serious inquiry!  My reason for this feedback is to highlight the sole reason our home sold in record time – Rachel Roxburgh at Beaux Villages.  What an absolute star!!
