The climate is on the edge of the Mediterranean and Atlantic, enjoying hot summers and mild winters but with a green, lush and undulating landscape rather than flat and arid.
You are also in the heart of Cathar country being within easy reach of all the major Cathar tourist destinations - such as the Chateaux of Puivert, Puilaurens, Peyrepetuse and Queribus as well as the UNESCO World Heritage site of Carcassonne just 50 minutes away.
