The Tour of the Poitou-Charentes is underway!

The 37th Tour of the Poitou-Charentes began on Tuesday in Confolens and will finish in Poitiers on Friday. With 123 cyclists taking part, they will cover 170km, passing through beautiful towns and villages, whilst admiring the stunning surrounding scenery.

The Poitou-Charentes is a real magnet for cyclists, due to the rolling countryside, narrow lanes, and stunning landscapes. The Charente river meanders through the region, giving cyclists a much needed chance to cool off too. The starting point in Confolens on the Charente river was a beautiful place to start!
