We returned last night from our house hunting sojourn in France and feel impelled to let you know of the lasting and positive impression made by the members of the Beaux Villages Group we met during our visit. They were, in chronological order: Andy Spiers and Mike Sweetman at the Jonzac office, and Alex Overton-Hunt at Verteillac. It is Alex to whom we owe a real debt of gratitude as he gave up a great deal of his time for us; he was personally charming, professionally experienced and knowledgeable. Thanks to him we learned a great deal about what it is to live in France which, to us, is every bit as important as buying a property there. Never once did we feel pressurised; there was no “hard sell” but what we did feel was a great respect for this consummate professional. Even those people whom we contacted but, for a variety of reasons, did not meet were charming and unfailingly helpful such as Tracy Faulkner whose administrative skills kept us regularly informed and well organised. As an organisation you must be very proud of the impression of your company given to prospective buyers by your individual agents and administrators. May I also compliment you on the quality of your web site; not only is it attractive to look at, having large photographs of properties, but the detailed information is also invaluable to a prospective purchaser. At the moment of writing we are awaiting a response to an offer we submitted but, regardless of whether we realise our dream home as a result of this visit, we will continue to hold the Beaux Villages Group in very high regard.
