Did you know that in Toulouse you can visit the renowned Cité de l’Espace (Space City)?

It’s an amusement park with a 3D cinema but also regularly holds expositions and we can tell you from experience that it is the perfect day to spend with the family while the kids are on holiday.

French people all over the country have been turning their hopeful gaze to the sky in the first few hours of the evening, trying to catch a glimpse of a strange-looking star, more mobile and shiny than the others - for good reason! The International Space Station currently holds one of their compatriots, Thomas Pesquet.

Every day Pesquet shares the details of his space journey through the beautiful pictures he posts on social media, allowing people to voyage through the stars with him and revel in the natural beauty of the universe.

This is why the Cité de l’Espace is dedicating its most recent temporary expo to astronauts. Come and discover their living space, their daily grind, see and listen to interviews and feel what it is like to “walk on the moon”, amongst other fascinating experiences that they offer.

Toulouse, in the heart of the South West corner of France, is one of the most dynamic places in the world when it comes to space travel and the meteorological study, and if space fascinates you as it does us, you should certainly come down and check it out.
