Vanessa allowed us to take our time when looking at initial properties in France and found answers to any queries we had whilst our purchase was going through. It is fair to say that Vanessa went above and beyond in her efforts to help us secure and set up our new home which we remain forever grateful for.
Anna and the BVI team found us our house

During our long search for a French home we had dealings with a number of agents and eventually viewed 46 houses. Much of our search was very frustrating because of a problem with most of the agents which was that many of the Houses shown to us were patently unsuitable for us. We had provided the agents with a specific set of requirements regarding our needs regarding condition, location, size, condition, facilities, access and price. We were offered many Houses with none of our criteria. This led to much time and money wasting and frustration on our part and despite much pleading to some agents they still proposed houses which were totally unsuitable. I suspect the fact that most agencies only paid their freelancers a commission upon sale was the cause of this problem and showing a house placed no financial burden on the agencies themselves, only their freelancers. We then found Beaux Villages and especially Anna Stewart. The properties she showed us were close to our needs but not quite right. One day she called and told us she thought she had found the one. She was right, a property just on the market, even the detail sheet was not yet printed. Only 2 viewings and we made an offer. We moved in on May 2018. Beaux Villages are highly

My husband & I are in the process of buying a property in France which as a result of COVID has made the process very difficult. If it wasn’t for the professionalism of our amazing agent Laura Croxford we may well have thrown the towel in months ago. Laura has been fantastically helpful going way beyond the call of duty to make the process as easy as possible.
I had to go over before we could exchange on the property and had to self isolate for 7 days. Laura shopped for me and kept me in wine and food for the duration of my isolation. I borrowed her personal phone charger during my stay and packed it by mistake. She couldn’t have been nicer about it. Finally and most importantly she read through the Compromis page by page translating it into English for both me and the sellers so we could fully understand what we were signing.
I have already recommended Laura to friends who are about to put their house on the market. I wouldn’t make a recommendation without having absolute confidence that Laura will do her very best.

Ann Devicchi guided us through everything

We were dealing with Ann Devicchi as our agent . Originally, we had only visited the office to have a look at what was on the market in the region around Riberac and speak to an agent but Ann got us to see 2 properties immediately, one of which we bought. Ann was very helpful, knowledgeable and quick in responding to our queries - especially as our French was not quite up to business negotiations. We were also extremely lucky with our vendor who could not have been more cooperative with Ann and us. Ann also managed to guide us through everything during covid as were obviously not allowed to see the property again after August.

Helen was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process of selling our French home. She went out of her way to make sure everything went according to plan and her attention to detail was outstanding. We had an excellent experience with Beaux Villages, Verteillac. They were recommended to us for our search for a holiday home in that area around of France. We had particularly been advised to ask for Anna Stewart. It was a good recommendation, we found Anna professional, knowledgable, incredibly helpful on every step of the process – which can be complicated at times. Nothing was too much trouble and when our purchase completion was suddenly postponed because of Covid-19, Anna helped in all the to-ing and fro-ing that we had to go through to finally secure our dream French home.

Covid-19 just started strong when we connect with Sean to get information on a property we were interested in. He want above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in purchasing our Home during this difficult time
Sean did Video Walk Throughs for us of the house we were interested in - including the surrounding neighborhood!
We are from the USA and have tres peu de francais (very little French)! Sean made sure we understood each step of the Purchasing Process. He kept on top of all the Paper Work and made sure we had assistances from all the other Agencies we need to complete our purchase.

Anne and Marion: stars in Verteillac!

I met Anne Kemp-Reynolds in summer 2017 on our visit to France to look to look at properties.
After a chat with Anne about what I was looking for, she showed us real possibilities and one in particular that might have become our new home, had we been proceedable at the time.
After we returned to the UK, Anne kept in touch by email and when I had sold my house and we moved over in January 2019 with everything including the cat, Anne set up viewings. Just two days after we arrived we spent a day viewing properties and we ended up buying the fourth house we saw on the first day of viewings.
Anne was friendly and easy to build a rapport with. She was very efficient and was on hand to give advice and help us through the process. She is a star and beacon in the Beaux Villages team.
I would also pick out Marion in the office at Verteillac as being another star. Marion has a command of the English language second to none. We were able to have an in-house Compris de Vente with Marion translating the documentation so that we were able to follow the process. Marion is always helpful, polite and knowledgeable.
