Two’s Company: Working with a partner
Partners in life or just best buddies? Have you ever thought about becoming partners in business?
Many of our agents at Beaux Villages Immobilier work together in a cohesive partnership; be they either romantically involved or simply two great friends that trust each other, they’re all making a huge success of their business in French property sales.
Working closely with another person means you can share your talents and pool your resources, including
☆ skills and knowledge ☆ ideas and inspiration ☆ workload and support ☆
☆ equipment and costs ☆ challenges and rewards ☆ family and leisure time ☆
Justin and Alice moved to France in 2018 with their two young children and joined BVI at the end of 2022. Alice, with her previous UK career in commercial recruitment and Justin from IT and marketing, brought personal skills and abilities which work perfectly in French property sales.
They pool their resources every day to make sure that neither their income or their family time is compromised. Alice explains “it’s a really effective way to work because Justin and I balance our individual workloads with school runs and activities with the children. It means we both get to work in a profession we really enjoy and still have great family time”. With Justin being a native French speaker, it also means that they can give their clients the very best service too. Alice continues “whilst we can both work with our international clients, Justin particularly focuses on our French speaking clients and vendors, which means they are communicating in their own language, being properly understood and their needs are being fully met, which makes a huge difference for them at what can be a highly stressful time in life”.
Helen and Mike are great friends whose families met almost 17 years ago when their boys became friends at school. With both of them having property sales experience in the UK and in France, they came to Beaux Villages Immobilier to set up their business together.
Helen tells us “when you work closely with another person, you can support each other through the tough times and celebrate the good times together; when there are two of you, there’s always somebody earning and making a contribution to the business, it works out really well”. They both have excellent abilities for the job and each could easily stand alone without a problem, however, Helen’s excellent administration and French language skills perfectly complement Mike’s talent at promoting their joint property portfolio to the right buyers
Twelve years later, they're still friends and still going strong!
Working with your partner means you immediately have a trusted colleague with whom you can learn a new career, develop skills and build a successful and lucrative business - and, don’t worry, the BVI team will be there with you, to support you all the way.
